Experts decided to run some tests to see how clean some companies are, and the results weren’t as good as we were expecting them to be. They discovered that a food company from China decided to reuse olive oil, and they did a few things that might make people sick. They used olive oil that came from different restaurants, and then the company filtered it and resold it as brand new.
So imagine that more than 2000 tons of recycled olive oil were sold back to restaurants. That’s disgusting, don’t you think? So how many foods made in China do you have on your NO list by now?

One cannot tell where a product is grown/manufactured as the US government has allowed companies to remove the source of a product from the labels. Now one only sees “distributed” by. For a long time, it has been rumored that all of Trader Joes’s and Costco’s products are from China. While not all have been verified, Costco’s scallops have been verified as being from China. We need to protest this allowance… for our health’s sake.

Supposedly, the problem is the plastic bag that the rice comes in, not the rice itself.
The issues are 1) sanitation and 2) little control over toxic chemicals in the food and/or packaging. Unfortunately, when you have 1.4? billion people, just getting the basics is a problem: quality is not the primary concern. Also, no matter how modern the cities, most of the countryside is still generations behind and that’s where most of the population still is ( or small towns). Suggest you try watching NHK, the Japanese English language program and their take on real life in China. NHK reports a lot on Asian countries, particularly East Asia. It’s very informative and a more realistic Asian on Asians perspective.
There are many other foods made in China and other foreign countries that don’t meet USDA health GUIDELINES that are allow to be packaged and

I hate to tell you, but some Chinese rice is actually plastic. Not just the bag. Several years ago an article was published about this as the regular Chinese citizen didn’t have enough rice and/or couldn’t afford it. Government solution, plastic rice.

The Real Problem, Is People Don’t Fight For The Right Things, If People Did , We wouldn’t Have Food From China, Or Other Countries .
Those were the days but now America is more dirtier than China and other dirty countries. Restaurants will raise their prices, not fit the bill for covering or hairnets and hire the help coming from the other side of the border since they work for real cheap with no benefits. We’re heading for a dictatorship country where Americans will suffer terribly in due time. America better wake the hell up. Our economy is not doing well at all and many countries (allies and enemies) are beating us in our own game.
They have begun to fire Americans working in food processing plants to replace them and hire on the millions of illegals brought in here by the obummer and biden regimes. Cheap labor, and we get back exactly what we pay for. For instance, Kroger uses a company called “Heritage Farm” for its chicken products. This is the only brand of chicken I have ever noticed (and I have bought it from all the other possible stores) that still has feather quills attached to some of the packaged meat parts, and obvious large white veins and arteries sticking out from the chicken that is cut up into into strips. Other processors cut up their chicken in such a way as to either avoid or remove the arteries before they package it for sale. I changed stores to Earthfare, an organic store, to pay a bit more but expect my chicken to look and taste like chicken used to when I lived on an organic farm.
Well, how does one check the source of the food item. Food items no longer state where the item is produced – grown, prepared, cleaned etc. Now one has to look up the barcodes, then look up the country that matches the barcode to see the source. Just looked at a can of “Baker’s Corner” evaporated milk (sold at Aldi”s), it states”Distributed and Sold Excusively by Aldi, Batavia, IL. No word about source of the ingriedents in the milk. This is disgraceful.

I agree I look for foods that are made in the US have no mark from China. As a matter of fact, I look for everything I can that is not made in China, which is hard to do.

Foods and snacks in the Dollar stores are made in China. Many of the items do not have the origin on the packages, but says “Packaged and Distributed”., and also in some of the the popular grocery stores. I trust stores like COSTCO and ALDI more, of foods made in America. .
I do the same but We may not know if something was imported from China because most packaged food labels only list the “distributed by” name and location.

Don’t drink anything from concentrate because most of that comes from China and it could be full of lead and their laws are different so you don’t know their farming practices
Look online for other foods and drinks to stay away from and also You Tube has a lot of informative videos.

Nothing made in China is good except that they’re cheap. When it comes to foods, avoid them at all costs because there are no FDA in China and our FDA is too busy to check everything.

It’s not the rice that is bad, it’s the plastic bags the rice is put into–that contain toxic chemicals. And it is believed some of those chemicals are exposed to the purity rice.
What about NABISCO cookies and crackers that are made in Mexico?
Years ago I prepared, cooked and ate a bag of frozen seafood from China. (It contained shrimp, squad, clams, etc.) I developed a fairly severe rash on my leg and I am quite certain the rash was from this Chinese sea-food. At the time (I do not know if it is still the case today) China had no equivalent of a Federal Department of Agriculture (FDA).
For smart people (of which I was not among) the melamine scandal of 15 or so years ago should have been a tip off as to how lax China is in protecting its food supply. My understanding of the scandal/scam was Chinese milk sellers were removing the valuable protein from milk and selling it separately and then adding melamine to the milk as a kind of pseudo-protein. The problem is melamine is unhealthy and it was making children drinking the milk sick.
How do we know and can be sure that food made in US or food imported from Europe is always healthy and doesn’t contain unhealthy chemicals? What can we still eat, who can we trust? I try to buy always organic food although expensive.
I think if we, The United States continue the way we are with China, they will totally control us.

The milk contamination was from mixing in *melamine,* not melanin. Melamine is a plastic. Melanin is what gives color to skin. You lost all your credibility when you made that mistake.

I just do not trust anything related to CCP China. Anything. I see here that you re doing bad review from china, that everything bad come from china, and that 1.5 billion people eat garbage… I don’t eat from china, not for your review but because we still have organic food in our country. In US to are not good, mostly people are obese
I have always wondered if the labels are accurate? Every inspection is done by sample and are the records accurate? Money rewards create this problem. And of course China is taking full advantage of it. The Chinese culture will work 6 days a week/10 hours a day (no overtime pay)(minimum wage). As long as it is cheaper to make in China, the importers will bring it here. Don’t forget government socialized medicine too, so labor is cheap in China. Don’t ever expect our American accountants to act with morality. Does anybody not know that products at Walmart are Asian imports?
Perhaps it’s time to start growing our own food. The vegetarians don’t eat meat and it’s better to grow and eat vegetables. There’s always somebody capable of helping grow food and with the abundance of food that you produce, you could sell the excess at a low price. Before you start, make sure you have a group of people that are willing to change their diets and willing to purchase the food from you. I think doing this would be less toxic. And it’s healthier. In the long run, it just might catch on to where everybody would start going their own food. Then we wouldn’t have to worry about China’s food, and the overseas packaging, and the “week old” freshness!

My guess is that the Tysons and Smithfield products are actually produced in the US, even though China (BOO) owns the companies.
As per the Lord our beef is contaminated so sorry to say no milk products at the moment. Currently using coconut milk and water. As per the Bible many are giving their lives to Christ so the demons are going back into the pigs so no pork at the moment either. Alternative turkey bacon Butterball or Oscar Mayer brand are my go to. I place it between paper towels and slowly cook it in the microwave to a crisp or you could deep fry it again to a crisp and it taste good. No broccoli no strawberries there there being tampered with too.
Ever since China-made dog foods and treats that
were killing our dogs (about a decade ago), I haven’t trusted their edible products. They also seem quite lax about truth in advertising and probably, truth in labeling as well.

The ability to grow and produce our own food is a matter of national security. Unfortunately, much of our vital farmland is being converted to residential development or for growing ornimental vegitation. You’d be shocked to learn how much of the “name brand” products we buy are from foreign countries, including meat, produce, and staples. China has quietly made itself a major presence in Central and South America, so products we buy with our “neighbor” countries could well be made to Chinese food safety standards without our knowledge. China is also buying up farmlands in America–curiously adjacent to our strategic military bases. One day–probably soon–America may be waking up hungry and have nothing to eat but house plants. Hopefully, the incoming Administration will make agriculture and domestic food production a top priority. Until then, our food and other essential products are at the mercy of a foe that could shut us off at a moment’s notice. The same risk applies to depending on energy sources from the mideast. It’s time to put aside silly conflicts and urge our leaders to pay attention to the big things.
On the rare occasion that I order Chinese food, I NEVER get chicken. I saw a horrifying documentary several years ago, showing one restaurant killing and cooking RATS, and passing it off as chicken! I still almost vomit when I think of it.
Buy what you can locally/regionally produced and in season.
Wean yourself from Wal-Mart. It is a Chinese product outlet. Same with those Dollar Stores.

Again, it’s been stated over and over again, read your labels. It should have an ingredient list, expiration date, and point of origin. Any “food” item you purchase should be from a local provider or at least from the United States. We have plenty to choose from to not have to purchase anything from China. Garlic and mushrooms: they will have the roots and be “dirty” in that area if from America; both from other countries, especially China, will be clean with no roots. Your best bet on items like these, and pork, is to look for a local farmer’s market, ask what they use to spray their crops, what do they feed their farm animals (you want non GMO grain fed, look for pasture raised and grass fed).
They also own 52% of Walmart, and most of their products come from China. Sam Walmart kids gave up controlling interest. Just ask their employees
that’s why i say my grace over what i eat every time. Yah will cleanse the impurities out of it but i do boycott china. i read labels and have gone back to 1981 when i did holistic and all natural health practices. at least i have a friend that raises chickens and i get eggs from him when i need some for only $3 a doz. i gave up broccoli after seeing a documentary on how they supposedly “clean” them in factories by beating them to get the worms out of them! uuuggghhhh! i’m sick of china and look for MADE IN AMERICA as much as possible. i’ll even buy from spain b4 i buy from china. back on the rack! anyway, that’s my story and i’m sticking to it.
