Stop! Never Order These 7 Fast Food Sandwiches

Are they really just as bad as other fast food items?

This depends on what you compare them with, but generally speaking, some of the ones on our list are just as bad as if you ate a big pizza on your own! This is because a lot of these subs come with a lot of bread and sauces, which are industrially made. This translates into a lot of saturated fats and added sugar, which was never good for our health, to begin with.

Sure, some of them have some healthy ingredients as well, but we are not looking at individual ingredients to see the nutritional value of the whole meal. We rather look at the end product. For example, if you look at the individual ingredients of a double-pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, it doesn’t sound as artery-clogging as it actually is, but together it is a calorie bomb!

The other problem with them is their sheer size. The bigger the sandwich, the bigger the problems. And truthfully, there are a lot of ways in which something as healthy-looking as a sandwich can turn unhealthy. You can, of course, get some healthy options at all of the chains we will mention below!

That being said, let’s get into the specific worst sandwiches you can ever order!

  1. In my opinion, any sub with words like Gargantuan or Giant in the name is a red flag. A normal person could make two or three (more?) reasonably-sized sandwiches out of that behemoth.

  2. All the fast food places make their sandwiches too big. I love the Arby’s Ruben, but I can only eat half of it. Wake up fast food. Bigger is not better.

  3. Charles W Bartholomew

Next time get a non Vegan or non Vegetarian to write this. I enjoy any of these sandwiches or subs but do not eat them every day. Anything in moderation.
