Giant Club Sub from Jersey Mike
If you want a classic American nostalgia throwback, you will be getting a Club Sub. However, this one is a bit high in the calorie count, not to mention the sodium and fat content.
This is because, in addition to the ham and turkey, it also has bacon and provolone cheese, veggies, as well as oil, mayo, extra salt, and vinegar. On their own, these ingredients are all okay, yet when you cram them together with the bread, you get a 2000+ calorie sub that is going to be horrible for your health.
Despite not being the worst of the worst, it is still a good idea to steer clear of this huge sub and instead opt for a more healthy option that Jersey Mike offers: the Grilled Portabella Mushroom and Swiss is a meat-less sandwich option that is hearty and filling, not to mention nutritious!
And if you’re looking for evidence that fast food is as bad as everyone claims, you should read our article on the matter here!

In my opinion, any sub with words like Gargantuan or Giant in the name is a red flag. A normal person could make two or three (more?) reasonably-sized sandwiches out of that behemoth.
All the fast food places make their sandwiches too big. I love the Arby’s Ruben, but I can only eat half of it. Wake up fast food. Bigger is not better.
I used to ALWAYS cut my fast food sandwiches in half. Now I cut them in fourths ! And I add PLENTLY OF WON’T POWER/WILL POWER to myself. 😀😃🙂🙃
Next time get a non Vegan or non Vegetarian to write this. I enjoy any of these sandwiches or subs but do not eat them every day. Anything in moderation.
AMEN!!!!!!
