12-inch Classic Italian from Quizno’s
This one would be in the middle of the list if we were to number them, as they are all bad for your health. And while a classic Italian doesn’t sound like such a big offense to your nutrition, the four types of deli meats (the salami, pepperoni, smoked ham, and spicy capicola) are. The combination is delicious, but it also contains the added fat and salt that deli meats are known for.
You could argue that the rest of the toppings, which are lighter, like all the veggies and the melted cheese, would offset the amount of salt and fat it carries, but, as we have seen with the other subs on our list, the sheer size of this sandwich is adding to the problem.
If you want to get something from Quizno’s, you should try the Spicy Monterey, as it will give you a lot of flavor and taste but carries a lot less fat and sodium than the Classic Italian.

In my opinion, any sub with words like Gargantuan or Giant in the name is a red flag. A normal person could make two or three (more?) reasonably-sized sandwiches out of that behemoth.
All the fast food places make their sandwiches too big. I love the Arby’s Ruben, but I can only eat half of it. Wake up fast food. Bigger is not better.
I used to ALWAYS cut my fast food sandwiches in half. Now I cut them in fourths ! And I add PLENTLY OF WON’T POWER/WILL POWER to myself. 😀😃🙂🙃
Next time get a non Vegan or non Vegetarian to write this. I enjoy any of these sandwiches or subs but do not eat them every day. Anything in moderation.
AMEN!!!!!!
