Kale is a fantastic non-dairy source of calcium. And it’s filled with fiber AND low in calories! This is the perfect opportunity to add a healthy “kick” to your cancer-fighting breakfast. And it’s effortless to prepare.
Ingredients:
- 3 to 4 kale leaves. Make sure you wash and slice them carefully.
- ¼ of a cup of spring or filtered water
Instructions:
- Bring the water to a rapid boil over a high flame in a medium size pot. Add in the greens, and cover them. Steam on high for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Drain the water from the pan to prevent overcooking, and enjoy it as a side to your favorite breakfast meal.
