Waldorf Salad
The classics are classic for a reason: They’re enjoyed year after year. And the Waldorf Salad is a quirky dish with a signature taste featuring grapes, apples, and walnuts.
But tradition aside, replacing the mayo in it with some plain yogurt for a modern spin on this time-honored lettuce-free salad is perfectly okay. Waldorf salad is a favorite, particularly in the fall when the walnuts and apples are in season.
And it’s especially trendy around the holidays, gracing many a Thanksgiving and holiday table.
