1. Sausage and egg sandwich

When you’re in a hurry and don’t have time to prepare your food at home, you’re tempted to go to drive-throughs and buy random sandwiches, which are usually high in sugar and other unhealthy ingredients. Now it’s time to say goodbye to these foods because you will love this recipe as much as I do! Let’s see what you need for it.

Ingredients:

4 teaspoons of olive oil

2 thin slices of red onion

12 oz of sweet Italian sausage

2 oz of extra-sharp grated Cheddar cheese

4 large eggs

4 English muffins, split and toasted

6 sliced chili peppers

1/4 cup of finely chopped parsley

How to:

For starters, in a large saucepan, heat 2 tsp of olive oil, then gradually add the onion and cook it for 3 minutes. With wet hands, shape the sausage meat into 1/4-inch-thick patties and then add them to the saucepan. Slightly increase the heat from low to medium-high. Flip the meat and cook until it’s juicy and tender, almost 2 or 3 minutes on each side. After that, carefully separate the onion slices into rings and arrange them on top of the patties, followed by the Cheddar, and cook until the meat is perfectly cooked.

In the meantime, heat the remaining olive oil in another larger nonstick pan and cook the eggs for up to 5 minutes or until the desired result. When everything is ready, top the bottom halves of muffins with sausage meat, then place the eggs, the parsley, and the pepper slices. Enjoy your breakfast!

2. Old bay scrambled eggs

Because eggs are a great source of vitamins and protein, we must include them in almost all our breakfast recipes. They are so versatile and tasty, whether you decide to make them hardboiled or scrambled. Today we’ll look at one of the simplest breakfast recipes that only requires three simple ingredients. Let’s see!

Ingredients:

1 tbsp. of unsalted butter (or olive oil)

8 large eggs

a pinch of salt

a pinch of fresh ground pepper

How to:

In a non-stick skillet, heat the butter (or the oil), while in a bowl, whisk the eggs together with salt and pepper. Add the mixture to the skillet and cook, stirring often, until the eggs are beginning to set. Once they are ready, add desired toppings: grated cheese, cooked veggies, herbs, or baby spinach.

Tip: The trick to having fluffy and smooth eggs is to cook them at a low temperature and continue to move them with a wooden spoon to create small curds.

There is nothing better than a plate full of scrambled eggs, which is why it’s probably the easiest breakfast recipe idea. How often do you cook eggs for breakfast? Have you tried this recipe before? Tell us in the comments!

3. Two-ingredient banana pancakes

Who can refuse some dreamy, mouth-watering pancakes for breakfast? Personally, I love pancakes in every form imaginable, but this recipe is by far the best and most nutritious ever. Why? Because they are ready in less than 10 minutes and contain only two ingredients. Too good to be true, right? I bet you’re already curious, and you can’t wait to make them for the next family breakfast. Let’s go to the recipe, shall we?

Ingredients:

1 ripe ban

2 eggs

1 tbsp. of cinnamon

Optional: maple syrup, chia seeds, or fresh fruit

How to:

Mash the banana and the eggs together in a bowl and season with cinnamon, if desired. To have a perfectly blended mixture, put everything in a blender. Meanwhile, heat the pan over medium heat and melt the butter in it. Drop the pancakes on the griddle, using about 2 tbsp. of batter for each pancake (they will hold together if they are small). Cook them for about one minute on each side, and then serve them while they’re steamy! Don’t forget about the toppings! I can guarantee you’re ABSOLUTELY going to love these.

4. Spinach and Prosciutto Frittata Muffins

This recipe is so tasty and packed with protein that your family will totally love it for breakfast. I can guarantee it’s still as delicious reheated as it was fresh. Let’s see what ingredients you need:

Ingredients:

6 large eggs

1/4 tsp of fresh ground black pepper

2 tbsp. of freshly grated parmesan

1-2 tbsp. of olive oil

1 small chopped onion

4 oz of chopped prosciutto

1 cup of chopped baby spinach

2 cloves of garlic (minced)

How to:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit while you grease a muffin pan and set it aside. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with salt and pepper until the mixture is well blended. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese to this mixture. Heat a skillet over medium heat, then add oil and onions and cook for about 3 or 4 minutes until the onions turn gold. Stir in the prosciutto and then add the spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted. In the end, add the garlic and cook everything for one more minute.

Distribute the veggie mixture equally as you spoon it into the muffin pan. Add 3-4 teaspoons of the egg and cheese mixture to the top of each one. Based on your oven, bake for 15 or 20 minutes until they turn light brown. Remove each one from the pan one at a time after letting it cool for a few minutes. Enjoy one of the most top-notch breakfast recipes of all time!

5. French toast for a lazy breakfast

Who doesn’t love a couple of fluffy French toast slices in the morning? This recipe is simple enough to serve as breakfast on a weekday, but it can also fit as an afternoon snack. It’s made from scratch, and it just takes a few minutes to create something deliciously unique that all of your family will love. They may even ask for seconds!

Ingredients:

6 large eggs

1/2 cup of milk (it can be vegan milk as well)

1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp of pure vanilla extract

8 slices of whole-wheat bread

4 tbsp. of unsalted butter

How to:

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and the vanilla extract. Then place 2 bread slices in the egg mixture and let them soak for 2 minutes. Flip the slice and let it soak on the other side for one more minute. In the meantime, heat 1 tbsp. of butter in a large nonstick skillet on medium-low heat. Once the butter is melted, add the soaked bread and cook it until it turns golden brown (1 to 3 minutes per side). Repeat the same operation with the remaining bread and butter. Serve it with honey, fruit, or even yogurt if you like.

Pass the fork, and enjoy your breakfast!
