Great: Shellfish
If you’re a fan of shellfish, you will be happy to hear that they are a great source of iodine, especially shrimp and lobster. You will only need about 4 or 5 pieces of shrimp (which is about 3 ounces) to cover 10% of the daily recommended intake of iodine!
What’s more, shellfish is an amazing source of zinc as well, which also plays a great role in keeping you healthy! Just make sure not to overdo any of the foods we mentioned. If you have already started to introduce fish and shellfish into your diet once or twice a week, you are already on the right path!
