3. A&W Root Beer
This root beer is a classic American soft drink that gained the popularity it has today based on its rich and refreshing flavor. A&W Root Beer is known for its smooth flavor that successfully combines vanilla, caramel, birch bark, and many other spices.
We know that you get a little bit nostalgic when opening a bottle of A&W Root Beer. It goes great with burgers and hot dogs, perfectly complementing these dishes.
Now, if you think about it, what can be so wrong with a root beer? As we did before, let’s check the nutritional values of a 20-ounce bottle and see what we can find out. A single bottle of this soda has 270 calories and 73 g carbs (0 g fiber, 72 g sugar), and 0 g protein. 72 g of sugar?! That is an astonishing amount of sugar!

Also why no discussion of the difference between sugar and high fructose corn syrup!
And if sugar is the culprit, what about diet sodas? You only focused on the calories and sugar which diet soda has none of.
What about sweeteners? Aspartame for example.
