#1 Nuts and Popcorn
When it comes to healthy snacks, you may not have expected us to include popcorn on the list, but here is why this list is different. We promised tasty treats, and what can be more comforting and tasty than a classic snack? Popcorn! Popcorn makes for a great snack because it is full of fiber, and when you do not douse it in butter, you can eat quite a lot of it for the same calorie intake as a couple of chips (about 4 cups of popcorn for 15 potato chips!).
What’s more, you can add to the popcorn a couple of lightly salted or unsalted seeds or nuts to make one of the best snacks out there. It will be packed with minerals, fibers, and unsaturated (healthy) fats, which will satiate your hunger and keep you full until the next big meal. Some of the best nuts and seeds you can pair with popcorn that will be extra delicious are walnuts, sunflower or pumpkin seeds, almonds, hazelnuts, or pistachios.
Just make sure you are not overdoing it with the nuts to keep this snack as healthy as possible!
