#3 Whole Grain Crackers and Cheese
Yes, you read that right! Cheese and crackers were a staple after-school snack during our childhood, and that doesn’t mean that you have to give up the habit or just reserve it for fancy charcuterie or cheese boards. You can eat these as a healthy snack, which makes them truly one of the most versatile snacks out there.
The only caveat is that you should choose a healthier type of cracker instead of plain old white ones. We recommend you use whole grain crackers that have the first ingredient on the label as whole grain or whole wheat flour to avoid getting some other type of cracker masquerading as a healthier option. Then make sure you eat as many as the serving size suggested on the packet, together with your choice of cheese.
If you are on the go, make sure you choose a type of cheese that is easily portioned and even individually wrapped (for example, string cheese) for an easier time carrying it around and eating!
