#4 Fast Coleslaw
The truth is, you do not need a ton to make a good, tangy, and fresh coleslaw. And with this recipe, you will not need a ton of seasonings to make sure that it tastes good. It is an easy and quick recipe for one of the most appreciated side dishes in the country, and believe us! You will not feel the need for another three side dishes with this one.
- 1 medium cabbage (about 6 cups worth)
- 3 medium carrots
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of cider vinegar
Instructions
In a bowl, add your finely chopped cabbage, and then shred the carrots directly on top. Mix them well. In another, smaller bowl, whisk your vinegar, sugar, and mayonnaise until thoroughly combined. Pour the mixture over the cabbage-carrot mixture and toss well so everything is coated evenly!
You can serve it directly or, for a better flavor, you can leave it covered in the fridge for a few hours—or even overnight!
