Ginger
Another food with exceptional capabilities for warding off viruses is, of course, ginger. It has been demonstrated to reduce inflammation, which may be beneficial if you experience a sore throat, swollen glands, or any other inflammatory condition.
The primary bioactive component in ginger, called gingerol, is related to capsaicin and may be utilized in both spicy and sweet meals. Many of gingerol’s therapeutic benefits are due to it. It contains potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
How much ginger does one need to consume each day? The average suggestion is for 3–4 grams of ginger extract or up to 4 cups of ginger tea per day.
TIP: You may also have now and then ginger ales that contain a higher percentage of ginger and zero alcohol. Read the labels carefully!
