#4 Spinach
Did you accidentally make too much spinach for your side dish at dinner? It would be a good idea to toss away the part you couldn’t eat. Yet, if you do not want to throw away food, your best choice is to eat the leftovers cold, be it in a pasta salad or in a normal salad alongside the other leafy greens. Food waste is never a good thing, so you should try to cook just as much as you need for one meal when it comes to spinach.
This is because green vegetables contain a high number of nitrates, which in general, give our bodies some vital nutrients. However, when reheated, these can become a bit toxic for you as the heat makes them release toxins when the body starts to process them. With every reheating process, the veggie becomes more and more toxic for you, so you should try to avoid reheating anything like spinach or beets.
