3. Milk

Most of us keep our milk in the fridge, right? We are here to tell you that you can store your milk for up to three months if you choose to freeze it. If you feel like you need to have a backup milk supply in your house, this is the best solution for you.

If you are worried that the quality of the milk will not be the same, you need to know that even if some fat-soluble vitamins and enzymes decrease a little, the quality will mostly be the same. Keep in mind that when you defrost it, you need to do it in the fridge and not at room temperature because if it stays at room temperature for too long, it can grow bacteria.

Freezing milk is possible for all of the non-dairy kinds of milk available on the market. Soy milk, oat milk, and even double cream can all be kept in the freezer. Now, if you see that your soy milk or almond milk is not looking the same as it did once you defrosted it, take a deep breath; everything is alright. These types of milk tend to separate when they are kept at freezing temperatures. Give them a good shake, and they will look the same as they did when you bought them.

They may be grown in your garden and then frozen. Check out the next page for more!
