Low-calorie foods
When your stomach needs food and you don’t listen to it, you might notice that you don’t want to do anything, and maybe you’re even irritated. When some people feel their hunger getting stronger and stronger, they think that a low-calorie snack will do the trick.
But if you eat too many of these meals, you might not get enough calories every day, which can be bad for your energy. The caloric value of a meal is an approximation of the amount of usable energy it will produce once digested.
Calories are used by your body for vital processes including breathing, thinking, beating, and simply existing. By eating a healthy, well-balanced diet, you can make up for the calories you burn during exercise and the rest of your day.
Consistently giving your body fewer calories than it needs might lead to hormonal imbalances, a sluggish metabolism, and fatigue. If you only eat a few calories and then you’re hungry again, you might be tempted to eat a lot more at your next meal, which can lead to weight gain.
…Listen to your body and eat healthy and nutritious snacks until you feel satisfied!

My wife is Korean and has eaten short-grain white rice every day of her life since the age of 3. She’s over 60 now and is almost as active and energetic as she was when she was 30 (she owns and operates her own business, which requires a good deal of physical and mental effort). If you sit around and do nothing most of the time, then rice can be bad for you, but so can avocados and prune juice.
