Pancakes
We have to break it to you: pancakes and waffles aren’t a nutritious choice when it comes to morning fuel. Yes, they’re the tastiest choice out there, but these comfort foods are made with a ton of refined white flour, topped with a lot of butter and syrup, which is pure sugar.
This means that pancakes and waffles are very high in calories, and fat, but also sugar, and they lack protein and fiber. Even if they fill you up rapidly, they won’t last for long, energy-wise. Even so, if you simply can’t ignore your cravings (and sometimes, it’s like that), you can easily opt for better versions, with whole grains or any other nutrient-dense ingredients, such as almond and chickpea flour.

Not quite…rice cakes.
You obviously know nothing about gravy. There is neither oil nor butter in gravy. It is made from grease left over from frying bacon or sausage, flour, and milk, with some salt and pepper.
