Buttered toast
Buttered toast is a super simple and beloved breakfast: it only takes a slice of bread, and your favorite butter to feel full. Even so, this option won’t last for long and you will soon feel hungry again because it lacks protein.
The wide majority of calories in any buttered toast come from carbs (the bread) and fats (the butter). However, bread and butter is an appropriate option if you go for whole grain bread, and you also add other protein-rich toppings, whether it’s only one egg or shredded chicken breast. If you want to boost your nutrient content even more, you can add a slice of vegetables, either tomatoes, cucumbers, or leafy greens.
