Broccoli And Cauliflower
This pair contains a double whammy of both soluble and insoluble fiber, helping solidify loose stools, lubricating the large intestine to promote the flow of waste, and can even affect colon health.

Psyllium Husk
Psyllium bark from Plantago ovate seeds is another excellent natural laxative. It’s one of the main ingredients of over-the-counter laxatives, containing insoluble fiber, which helps feces absorb water from your gut to ease your bowel movements. It’s also excellent for your overall digestive health and even prevents bloating.

Pro Tip: Before bed, mix half a teaspoon of psyllium peel with a glass of warm water or milk. Gradually increase the dose by 1 or 2 teaspoons per cup. Repeat daily for smooth bowel movements.

  1. I am already eating and drinking many of these foods on a daily basis but still have a problem with constipation. I have to use an OTC medication or suppository to relieve my constipation.
