Whoever wrote the article about 9 worst coffees, does not have a clue, I have been drinking McCafe at home, and it is not bitter at all. In fact it is the best coffee on the market. No I do not use K cups I use a pour over method with ground coffee and it is delicious.
Totally agree! It’s the only coffee we have purchased in years. Preferably the dark roast in the blue can.

IMO Dunkin Donuts ground coffee brewed in a percolator is the best…one time coffee through a filter just doesn’t cut it.
I remember a certain time. Coffee was the cheapest in price from the source, in some 25 or 30 years. But, GOOD OLD Stabaucks , did not reduce the price of a cup , one penny.

Folders has toxins, drank for years, not anymore. Switched to bullet proof no toxins in coffee.

I hate Starbucks coffee…for me it is to strong and bitter. I drink Folgers all the time and sometimes I drink Community and Maxwell house (now the new name is Apartment House.. LOL)

Folgers has to many fillers it doesn’t taste the same I had use it for 20 years it isn’t worth it anymore
A long time ago I was at a friend’s house the night before a trip. He had some coffee brewing and filled my Thermos with some – I was leaving early the next morning.

I agree….Starbucks tastes like burnt, over roasted coffee….most people drink it with a ton of syrups and sugars in it to get their mocha or caramel flavor tastes in it….no one really drinks their coffees to get their tastes like a dark plain coffee. I never hear anyone order that.
I appreciate and love coffee. However, there is no such thing as bad coffee, just some are better than others. Absence makes the coffee better especially if you were deprived for a period of time, for instance, in prison. “Circumstances don’t matter. The only thing that matters is my State of Being.”

I’ve not yet seen the best/worst brands. I chose to view ‘worst’ first. But all that would appear were various (5 or 10) ‘best’ coffee tabs. I wonder if I’d tapped ‘best’, would the ‘worst’ actually appear?

senior citizen here likes strong black coffee. different coffees seem to hold heat in the cup longer than others, maybe my imagination, maybe the flavor. been enjoying black & dark silks of folgers & maxwell house for years. but i still experiment. most brands require a bit of mocha before i finish the pot, rarely the case with these 2. i grew up as a kid in a restaurant, weaned on a double dose of sanka, didnt know it was double till years later, that stuff was good. have never matched the flavor trying it again today, yet but today is another day
I was always told light roasted coffee is your stronger coffee like in Breakfast Blends

I appreciate this article. That being said, what are the good brands? You have pretty much eliminated the brands I use. I am not happy with the coffees I use but would welcome new ideas.

For what it’s worth, my wife and I switched to Chock Full of Nuts 20 years ago and have never gone back. Had to buy Folgers last month as our brand wasn’t there for a week. We bought Folgers and were “bitterly” disappointed! Just sayin….

IMHO from coffee in capsules: for Keurig: Lavazza, Peete’s Dark Roast Major Dickason’s, 8 o clock. For Nespresso Vertuo: Melozio and Half Caffeinato. But it really depends on one’s taste… I prefer good cappucino.
Disappointed that Folgers “French Vanilla” coffee is no longer available in Canada. 😢 My “go to” coffee for decades. 🇨🇦

I like McCafé coffee. Breakfast Blend light roasted. I think this is bull. I like what I like I am not going to buy because somebody says its the worst.

We drink San Jose Columbian whole bean & grind. Also half-cut with San Jose decaf to reduce caffeine.
Aldi decaf Breakfast Blend medium roast cups are the very best! Try it, you will like it.

I drink maxwell house dark roast columbian roast it’s the best macafe used to sell in majers but i was bummed out so i went to maxwell house and haven’t turned back where is the best brands of coffee to get or is this from noncaffine drinkers….
