1. Carrots

Many studies discovered that eating more carrots was associated with a lower risk of this terrible disease. A review of 5 studies found that carrot consumption was associated with a 26% lower incidence of stomach cancer.

There was a large study that compared the dietary habits of more than 1,000 people with and without lung cancer. Current smokers who did not consume carrots were shown to have a threefold increased risk of developing this disease compared to weekly carrot eaters.

You should eat a few carrots a week to get that vitamin A, which will help your eyes and reduce the risk of developing severe health issues.

You can combine them with some hummus or cream cheese for a healthy snack, or you can cut them into pieces, put them on a tray with some olive oil, potatoes, and chicken, pop it in the oven, and you’ll have an incredible meal that will keep you full for hours.
