7. Gose (DuClaw Brewing Gose O’s)

First brewed 1000 years ago in Germany, gose is a style that has gained popularity more and more in the past few years among all the craft beer brewers.

Because it’s brewed with a wheat base and salt, gose has an acquired and different taste than most beers, even the one we’ve mentioned before, lambic.

Besides a salty base, gose always contains a probiotic bacteria called Lactobacillus that helps produce the sour aftertaste.

The probiotic bacteria Lactobacillus, which studies indicate is beneficial for digestion, is also present in foods like sauerkraut, miso, and kimchi, all of which are known to promote gut health and reduce anxiety symptoms.

If you’re looking for a unique flavor, you should definitely try out a gose that has added fruit to it. Sour, fruity, and healthy?

I’m totally in for a sip!
